Re: DEC diethylcarbamazine

The book is "Freedom from Lyme Disease" by Bryan Rosner. If you google, you are likely to find the excerpt I am talking about. I imagine for each Lyme person it is different, but he seems to indicate that when it helped, he had a return of energy. He says DEC is his favorite Lyme drug but does not give dosages. For parasites you must slowly ramp up, especially of there is a chance you have river blindness parasites. I have taken it at 200mg 3 times a day when I was targeting filaria, 2 times a day for immune and liver support, and am now using 200mg once daily for liver support. These are doses I decided on myself, except for the 200mg three time a day for parasites. I am even considering pulsing it.
It is always a good idea to take a reduced first dose of any new drug in case you should have a reaction.
Wish you luck.
