Sucrose (table sugar) is a disaccharide and will remain undigested until it gets to the colon where the yeast will feed on it. Monosaccharide Sugar such as glucose is quickly absorbed in the upper small intestine and won't be around as food for yeast in the lower gut. So I suggest you buy a giant jar of glucose (dextrose) and drink it in herb tea so you won't go into ketosis.
