Plants aren't monsters--so indeed he might be nice enough. I never said he wasn't nice to talk to---many people who work for that side are. They'd hardly be effective if they were unapproachable, sullen or haughty. (although some do get that way, after a while, especially if challenged).

He unfortunately did little to demonstrate the unlikelihood of that in this exchange here. I wasn't sure before---so apparently his guilty conscious got the better of him as he went totally into defensive mode in an effort to prove he wasn't.

Plus if he'd work hard to cultivate his 'regular guy' facade, someone calling him on it would definitely be annoying, after all that careful work.
