Throat Constriction

Hello CureZone world. I came here seeking answers. I've looked all over the internet, but can't seem to find any solutions. I didn't find any forum topics about my issue, either.

This has been going on for at least two months now. My throat feels constricted - like there's a big pile of something chilling in my throat. I can't lay on my back because it makes it worse. For the last couple of days it has hurt to swallow, mostly on the right side. So it would seem it is getting worse. A month ago, I was on vacation and had this terrible toothache. I thought for SURE I had a cavity. So of course I spend $100 to get an exam and x-rays only to find out there's no cavity. The dentist thought I might have a sinus infection.... But for two months now? When my tooth was hurting on vacation, I had a slight ear ache, but nothing major (I've had ear infections all my life so I know when it's bad). Other than that, no congestion, no headaches, no coughing, nothing that comes with having a sinus infection. The dentist prescribed me Antibiotics which I threw in the trash. I believe if I had strep throat, I'd know it, right? I don't think I have strep. I have noticed my voice sounds different now, when I listen to it on a recording.

The other bad thing about my condition is that I don't have insurance. That's why I've scoured the internet to try to heal myself. Nothing seems to help. Hot liquids, raw garlic.... I mean, do sinus infections last THIS long? It's starting to really stress me out because it hasn't gone away, nothing I do helps, and I can't just skip on over to a specialist without paying a hefty fee.

I've looked up thyroid and throat cancer - which freak me out, and I sure hope it's neither of those. I've also looked up cricopharyngeal spasm - which seems to be what I'm experiencing.

I also wanted to say that I exercise and don't eat junk. I'm a vegetarian and I do not eat any dairy. I eat gluten rarely. I also went to the chiropractor yesterday for the first time ever to see if maybe he had answers. He said over time the vertebrae in the back of your neck invert, and that could be why I'm feeling constriction in my throat. So he popped my neck on both sides, but that didn't help either.

Please, someone help me out. Any answers are welcome.
