The medical systems' treatment of people with serious parasite infestations is very similar to the evil at Aushwitz. Because they were told it was ok to treat people at these camps so inhumanely, they thought it was the thing to do. Telling people they have a delusional psychosis, are mentally ill, and got parasites because they lived in dirty conditions, leaving them to suffer and even die, is pretty darn low. Just the same, there was the odd rare person who lived with a soul that did not allow them to let people die and they risked their positions to save lives and do what they would know is the only right thing. So I would say that it is naïve to think that you can go to any doctor in the medical system and get treated kindly by the Nazi trained. And the most indoctrinated may be the Infectious disease doctors themselves. You have to pick your position carefully and know it is useless to approach your standard person trained by the system. Find the exceptions in the medical system. Or if you have the money go to a good naturopathic doctor. but it seems that the advice given by ICU, Matt and Sharkman can help many people recover fully.
