Re: Why not tell the doctors?

initially when I suspected a parasitic infection i asked doc is it possible to have a bug or something in your sinus. he physically took five steps back and said no . i left humiliated it took alot for me to ask did not seek treatment for another year? and then I was very ill - lucky for me it was pretty obvvious how sick i was- physically thin and lethargic and I used a naturopath - totally believed me and treated me accordingly. during duration of treatment did go to an infectious disease specialist - already on albendezole had done vermox-he said I was like many of his patients delusional i left without any testing etc. I also had an er need while on prazi - high blood pressure and they called in the psych I left without speaking to him as I knew I did not want any reference on my med records re him.ps the prazi worked well. so I always suggest until you find one that you know or trust is going to believe- liesay you went on vacay south and got sick after you came home - stomach bug? whatever but dont use any specific wording-be smart and worm your way into an effective treatment if you can - just had to do that! pun! Luckily for me my infection was dealt with and now three years later there is finally a official note of it on my file via a gastro report. hook and tape.
