Fasting, definitely. It would not harm, it will only help. It harms only those that don't know what they are doing. Do more research on this site if you still feel unprepared. Clean bowel through raw foods before beginning. Break the fast accordingly.
Don't do lemon, unless super-weak, even then - better is to break the fast or just stay in bed until able to walk in the room.
Most ppl here can't afford to go to a retreat and are fasting unsupervised.
Don't take drugs or anything else while fasting.
You can safe loose these 10% aft during your fast and top it up with some tissue autolysis - hopefully including the cyst & content. BP will go down with cleaning up and improving kidney function. Don't overload with water, just drink as per thirst. Fasting is supposed to better your kidney and liver fn, not harm it; ... while you need to transition wisely back after finishing the fast, since all systems including liver & kidney will be at decreased capacity state, meaning - don't do coffee, alcohol, any drugs, harsh supps, animal food for quite a while, hopefully: never, following your fast.
