Dear Demodex sufferers, I have heard of this mite ever since I was 18 and these nasty little bastards apparently have sex on our faces at night. I had been using surgical spirits and had not had one pimple, yet I have suffered with acute eczema all my life, I am now 43. Try this, get a big bottle of betadiene or something with that ingredients in it and a body wash for sensitive skin and mix some together and wash your whole body in it. Betadiene contains iodine. Another thing you can try is good old plain methylated spirits. Apparently, they used to wash new born babies in metho and water in the 60's to kill germs. After washing my hair and skin in betadiene and Qv wash,ensuring not to get it in your eyes, I wash and conditition my hair normally then I mix half a cup of metho in a mixing bowl of water and pour in all over myself, again ensuring not to get it in your eyes!
