Re: HELP, MERCURY poisoned/ Exposure from Removal of Fillings.
As I said, the dentist is for the teeth. You go there to get rid of the
Amalgam fillings. If they tell you about subsequent mercury detoxification is irrelevant to their actual job of removing the fillings IN A WAY THAT CAUSES LEAST (additional) HARM.
You can go and look for a (real) doctor who handles this kind of stuff right away and start with chelators as soon as the filings are out (I got DMPS 2 days later) or whatever that doctor has to say.
A WARNING. Don't believe when doctors tell you they believe you, if they *really* do depends on their actions. Doctors are trained to always give a patient the feeling that they believe even their most outlandish and ridiculous claims. You tell a doctor earth radiation and the position of the stars influences your sleep? They will agree with you. You tell them wheels are squares? They'll agree with you. It's good from both their perspective as a doctor as well as form their perspective of someone who has to make a living with whatever patients happen to come their way.
So if you tell them about that horrible mercury and they agree with you - well, it means nothing. UNLESS THEY USE CHELATORS DMPS AND DMSA they do NOT believe you, or they have no idea what they are doing. If they other homeopathy or other useless stuff - sure sign they treat your "mind" not your body because they don't believe one word you say and think the problem is in your head.
And there are lots of non-doctors - who *may* or may not be of help. But they are no doctors, and when they start giving you advice like what just happened here - RUN. Depending on what kind of doctors you find some of those non-doctors may indeed have a better idea what to do and be your best (and only) choice under the circumstances, but beware.
Also keep in mind that from a doctor's perspective one of the LEAST attractive kind of patient to get is someone doing mercury detox. Reason: They are psychologically challenged (it's in the brain and has negative person-altering effects), it takes a LOOOOONG time so unless the patient is wealthy insurance is going to make problems, since they don't accept "mercury poisoning from
Amalgam fillings". If I was a doctor I would never take on such patients I must admit. It is very unattractive.
> Also lastly how long does the detox process take?
With lots of DMPS and DMSA I saw major effects within the first year. Problems I had taken as "normal ageing" and "everybody has problems" that I hadn't associated with mercury at all even after starting treatment disappeared.
But other annoying detox related problems will come up, mostly brain related. 5 years minimum, 7-10 years probably.
And I discovered you have to take TIME. Lying down for 10-30 minutes before noon an letting my brain "go wild" (can't describe it), which has nothing to do with "sleeping" (I was wide awake AND dreaming!!! can't describe that, must experience). Most of the deep detox will be done by your body, the chelators only help get it out. And your body needs lots of rest - sleep, but also during the day. After the first year (or at least 6 months) it's time to try ALA.
And Chlorella still helps my guts (I did many experiments on/off) even now after over 5 years. But it's really just for the guts. And keep my warnings about the source you get it form in mind.
