Re: eczema triggers

I have thought of that as well, but we have not changed laundry detergent since few years ago, and we do not use any softerners. Wearing the clothes does not make me flare up. The flare up just comes randomly, i go by my normal routine(i am a picky eater so there was actually not much to change in the first place)

By the way my eczema seems quite localized, just around my mouth area which was weird in a perfect half oval(?) Which was why i suspected it occured due to hydrocort usage there for at least a year, it is also below my lower lip and i had applied hydrocort 4 months ago since it was prescribed for my chapped lips. I do have some suspected discoid eczema on my leg but those do not bother me as much.

For my chapped lips i think too much msg caused it since i was on a holiday, the soup base was basically chicken cubes for lunch and dinner in a day for at least 1month.

I made a food diary, while i was doing that the flare up wasn't like all the time but after i stopped since i thought it worked, it came back and that is why it is so annoying. I do not believe that this eczema is uncurable since i wasnt born with it. I wonder if it could be the usage of medicine that caused it. The meds i have taken are just Antibiotics /antihistamine.

I do not think i have a low immune system as i do not get fever/flu easily.

I have thought of candida but i have no way of testing it out since the derms i have asked said it would not cause this. Even when i asked if i could be vitamin deficient, they just laughed it off. I am definitely going to demand a blood test in the next follow up and a skin culture to figure out what exactly i am dealing with here.
