Re: How Do You Think You Got the Parasite?
Ah yes, the steroids. A friend of mine who lives in Spain got River Blindness worms which starts from the bite of a small black fly.
He had previously been in hospital on large doses of steroids for his asthma.
He believes it was the steroids that caused his huge infestation from what was probably one bite.
He is now cured after long term use of mainly Ivermectin and some dosing of Moxidectin. (He was luckily in the hospital when he took the Moxi plus grapefruit juice and ended up in ICU).
He intends to dose with Iver every six months life long.
Thank you for sharing your story with me.
I am also suspicious of sushi etc. and always check the dishwashing routines of cafes I go to. I did read of one guy who thought he got his from eating a wild mushroom.
I can't even walk near mulch now and refuse to touch anyone else's dog, wash my hands several times a day and rare food gives me the heebie jeebies to look at.
If only we were all educated about these things. Someone told me once not to walk around barefoot. They were from Africa and I assumed they were over-reacting. They said you can pick up things from the soles of your feet, but I had no idea they meant worms or parasites. I thought they meant germs.
Best wishes to you for a full recovery.
