I'm modifying my Water Fast to help with the electrolyte issues. I get muscle cramping and it is difficult to overcome. I am using diatomaceous earth (rich in minerals)mixed in the water and also add liquid minerals this fast and hope that will help support my fasting symptoms. I also do coffee enemas but do less when Water Fasting due to its influence with throwing off electrolyte balance. I do epsom soaks and also swish with magnesium oil.
