Re: Any Antidote Or Treatment For Iodine Toxicity?

i am a person who has a thyroid issue that has been preventing my thyroid from using the Iodine adequately and properly and the reason i believe so is because my fingers and toes are still cold after taking it for 10 years and bumping up to really high levels several times...

when I took a glandular formula to support my thyroid, it started making me very hyper to take a dose of iodine

so i stopped taking it for a while, but then i started going back into the Depression and feeling tired and not wanting to get out of bed in the morning, so i started back on a very low dose of iodine, and when i did, i experienced dark urine for a few days

that surprised me because i was only off it for a few weeks

perhaps there something else is going on and you are feeling tired because you stopped taking iodine…and i agree with gina that your temperature is important~ mine is now running a little too high on iodine, after 40 years of always being too low~ but fingers and toes are still cold most of the time

a doctor once tested me and told me to stop taking Iodine because i was in a Wolf Chaikoff state, so i lowered the dose

the last time my thyroid got tested they said it was normal
but i know something is wrong with it because i have cold fingers and toes most of the time and my body temperature is haywire and i have a swollen lymph gland in my neck and the skin on my neck itches like crazy and i have a chronic cough and pain in my breast which responds to bugleweed, which are symptoms of a specific kind of thyroid cancer, and for calming a hyperthyroid symptoms…

what i am saying is that you cannot trust their tests because they don't know what normal is, and it is like the blind leading the blind through a pop up labyrinth obstacle course for them to try and figure out what is going on, especially when they are testing people who aren't afraid to experiment on themselves and self medicate

fact is they are saying my thyroid tests are normal and i have major issues with my thyroid

if you accept their word for it they will eventually tell you that you cannot be cured and offer to make you comfortable…. been there, said NO Thank you, got myself better…

it is good that you are trying to figure this out instead of putting your life in the hands of doctors who do not believe in curing, because they make their money from prescribing, and if people start getting cured, they will be out of business
