You are correct in a sense. Most psychics and mediums ARE PHONY. I don't recommend that anyone go to one unless you just want to be told what you want to hear.

Also, some mediums and psychics have partial gifts. In other words they see a red rose in their mind and tell the person someone sends their love.

But your Christian beliefs are leading you astray almost as if a DEMON was involved.
I see dead people all the time. Most of them have nothing to communicate they are just hanging out doing what they did in life. The soul and body are separate energies. When the body dies the soul persists. Unfortunately religion has everyone convinced that when they die there is nothing. The result is the soul has no idea how to get to heaven.
They are just hanging out because religion taught them this was all out of their control. That is why I instruct any relative I have who is about to die on how to cross over. The longer you wait to cross over the more likely you are to become a victim of a demon. Animals all know instinctively how to cross over because they have not been taught otherwise. But I always instruct them, just in case.

Then there are souls that are afraid to cross over for fear of punishment. They were not good people in life and they knew it but continued to act badly. Here again religion has taught that punishment will be their only reward in the afterlife. If I can help them before they are taken over by a demon I try to make them understand that it's all love and it has to be better than just vibrating in between. One very stubborn nasty man who had died 30 years previous kept arguing with me. I tried gently for years to get him to cross. Then he started becoming nasty. Finally I said or I should say I yelled at him, "You are such a tough guy but you don't have the guts to face God. Grow some balls ass hole. Quit being a coward." He crossed.
God values all souls. Those who did not act appropriately and learn are given intensive treatment to help them understand what they did was wrong. It's called purgatory because you must feel every bad thing you heaped on someone else intentionally. You must witness what you have done. When you soul is healed you go to heaven or as I call it, home.

I want religion to stop scaring the hell out of everyone.
I want Christians to stop telling people if they believe in Jesus they will be saved. The guy on death row that killed 27 people decides he needs to believe in order not to go to hell. Believing in Jesus won't help him if he ever actually believed to start with. Your beliefs have no effect on the destiny of your soul. ONLY your thoughts and actions. God pays no attention to the phonies.
I want people to understand that we are all part of a whole. When you treat someone badly you are hurting us all, including yourself. If you are a physics buff this is string theory.
