Re: HELP Adrenal Fatigue and Severe Anxiety

Hard to say b/c the day I did Sugar fasting test, I had been on an anti-depressant for a week. Besides feeling more jittery and nervous, I also lost my appetite so my food intake was much less. i have to say i did have frequent urination that day.

My appetite has not returned. I am able to go many hours without food and feel I have n abundance o energy.

The only clue I have is that the blood flow in the veins in my hands becomes much less if I go too long without eating. Sometimes, I wake up in the middle of the night, feel fine and then very anxious. This is much worse if I had a stressful day or tried to exercise earlier that day. I have tried to add oatmeal as a bedtime snack to see if this helps. Food restores that blood flow (a good piece of chocolate does too).

Even now, barely ate lunch and I am full of energy. Feel like I can run a marathon. This could have something to do with the fact that am trying to eat more protein.

Are there are ways to tell if you are hypoglycemic? I used to get light headed after a long endurance ride but only occasionally get that dizzy feeling. Now it's either that vein feeling or a feeling of going into shock (rapid breathing, clammy feeling).
