You will find that answer in the scriptures. There are many warnings to us of false prophets, false teachers and wolves who twist scriptures for their own gain. Some are knowingly ministers of satan. Some are just deceived as they have been brainwashed by false teaching themselves. The answer boils down to the fact that there is a major battle going on for our very souls. We need to study the scripture for ourselves, examine what we are taught against our own studies and seek the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth. He is faithful to do so if we seek Him.

We see in the following scripture that holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. There are no imperfections in the original scripture.

"We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." 2 Peter 1:19-21 King James Version
