Re: Jesus, Mohammad and corrupted scriptures.
My personal opinion is that some of the scriptures that we refer to as the Bible have been tampered with and corrupted. I believe there were things purposefully left out and suppressed because it didn't go along with what the people in charge wanted. It is actually a fact that the Old Testament is just a collection of books and there are plenty of them that are missing. If you listen to the prophesies that Jesus said are fulfilled, many of them you can find the scriptures that he is referring to and many of them are just missing. So even from the time Jesus lived until now, many scriptures from the Old Testament have just gone missing. As far as the New Testament, I do think that the only reason we have access to the amazing Gospel of Christ is because God and angels guided it to retain the main message of Christ, but personally I still think it was probably tampered with quite a bit, and certainly those who tampered with this message will pay for what they did. The New Testament of Christ contains everything that is necessary for the salvation of man, thanks to God and angels that we have these amazing scriptures. But it is very far from the whole truth.
Refreshed, you have never met a Christian that fears God? That is awesome, probably because you don't fear God so you don't attract the type of people that fear God into your life, but I assure you that Christians who fear God are in great abundance. They even refer to themselves as God-fearing men and women. If you listen to the message of Jesus, he taught mainly a Gospel of love, but he did at times speak of those who were in danger of going to hell and outer darkness. I assume this is why some people refer to themselves as God-fearing because they follow the laws of the Bible in fear that they will go to hell if they don't. This is the lowest form of servitude to God that one can manifest. In my personal opinion, the only reason Jesus even spoke about hell was to point out the reality of the situation to people. He was saying this is the path that you are on and if you continue down this path of sin you are on the road to hell. The way you understand it, Refreshed, is the correct understanding, the only fear comes in fear of separation from God, and I think some people that refer to themselves as God-fearing mean it this way, hopefully.
