Re: FMT

Update: I reached out to multiple Doctors who practice FMT regularly worldwide. Only one got back to me: Dr. Carmen Campbell of the GoodLife Medicine Center. She has assured me that hormonal birth control pills are absolutely not a dealbreaker for a male who is performing FMT at home.

After about a week of joking about it with my wife, I went for it. ( Well, she went for it)
I actually performed the FMT today. I researched the risks involved and decided that honestly I don't care if I even have to be hospitalized due to some sort of rare adverse reaction. There's almost a sense of freedom when you have hit rock bottom and literally don't care anymore, even about the worst case scenario. My wife is a gorgeous Blonde in amazing shape and we both eat massive amounts of greens and a healthy organic diet. If I get sick from some random parasite, oh well!
I'm also a Paramedic so nothing makes me squeamish anymore. The gross factor of FMT pales in comparison of what I deal with on a daily basis.

So, I went for it. We'll see if it works for my Seb Derm. Since my Seb Derm came on literally a few days after 3 consecutive rounds of Antibiotics , I'm hoping the roughly 250 mL's of FMT I just let flow will serve as the replenishment that I need.
I'm not getting my hopes up since I lost all hope long ago.
