SoulSurvivor, thought it may be helpful to say here that, BPD is always the proper abbreviation used for Borderline Personality Disorder as NPD is Narcissistic.

You very kindly replied to my first post some time ago, and I think you also assumed there, that when I'd wrote BPD, I meant Bipolar disorder.
My husband had Borderline Personality Disorder - BPD. Although, I do appreciate that often when a person suffering any of the personality disorders, there can be overlapping disorders and traits involved, including Bipolar disorder etc.
