Your arrogance is astonishing, especially in light of what we've seen of your discernment on here, or total lack thereof.

If you don't think that is arrogance and a put down, then I don't know what to think of you. I don't look to you as a standard for my discernment experiences so stop trying to give me your standard and expect me to try to live up to that. There is no evidence in the Bible that what you described is what discernment experiences are all about. There is no evidence that the Holy Spirit deals with all of us like that, Ed. We also get much discernment from the Bible, Ed, and not a one time experience as you described. The Holy Spirit can give us amazing discernment for different situations as well. I feel many of us who post here have more discernment than you do. We all seek the Lord too. You do not have a special in with God that I would seek after. I seek Him for myself. Most of us grow in discernment as we study the Word and seek the Lord. Sometimes we do have an experience for situations.
