It almsost sounds like there IS something blocking your vile ducts.. but what weird is, when my 8 year old had pinworms, she was vety sick with vomitting and diahrrea that her doctor thought was food allergies . When her stools started getting very pale and green, i took her to the ER because i always thought that meant a blocked duct...and thats when we saw the live pinworms in her stool sample and the er doctor looked at them and said they were pinworms. Once they were gone, everything went back to normal so the pale stool is a mystery.
My ultrasound showed the presence of parasites, they were moving in this weird wave pattern and then would stop and then do it again. I swore they were holed up in my colon because I would feel this strong shuffling, for lack of better adjective, since it seems like saying a "baby kicking" gets misread by people 2ith cognative problems... thats why i desperately tried to flush them out with enemas, but here its not my colon.. they were all holed up in my ileum but the movement could be felt in my colon and sometimes if my bladder was full, like early morning or a long car ride, i could feel something hit it, but it would go away. If the doctor is right, whipworm usually hangs out in the cecum, but they hatched in the small intestine and never made it into the cecum and were only a little bit off... which could have caused a major blockage issue. The scary thing about it was that you could see the moving on the screen, but I couldn't feel it at the time, so that blows my theory that if my partner had them, he would feel it moving :( (he handles the wood pile that i think I got infected from stray cats being around it) so now he has to go to see the doctor wednesday. They also did one of my other organs and liver and said it looked good, so I think they can see into ducts. Thats how I had my Gallstones diagnosed, but a guy here who has obvious liver flukes had an ultrasound that found nothing... so there is always that possibility. I think Ascaris would be tough to hide though... and from reading years back through the forhms it looks like a lot of people had scattering after irritating the worms in their intestines. I'm not expert but I would think a worm in a bile duct is better than a worm stuck in a leg muscle or running for your head. I think they might be easier to kill in the bile duct. The bummer is if you can't flush it out, then what? Surgery?
Someone else said the other day that a lot of times people don't get results with meds is because they haven't done anything to flush out their intestines and with all the layers of mucous and plaque and ropes, the parasites are protected. In the beginning the albendazole was doing absolutely nothing for me and once i started taking it with fat, it worked better... but when i started doing the enemas and clearing out the ropes and yuck, one dose was enough to drastically reduce the parasite load, the next dose a week later knocked it out even more to where i cant even feel it anymore... so now I'm just gonna hammer down and clean house... and make sure everything is getting flushed out and stays open.

I get the same thing about being young and slender and looking healthy... but i must have looked like death at my appointment 2 weeks ago because at my last appointment the doctor said i looked so much better and was happy i gained back the weight i lost. My son said i looked frail, but i think it was more stress than anything else because the meds took a long time to work.
