How Christians should act
'People around the world are drawn to bible banging, loud mouth preachers every day. Do you really think it was due to the way it was presented that attracted the people? Or was it the soil that was fertile and the Truth of God's Word took root?'
And all the people being drawn to bible banging, loud mouth preachers will create more bible banging, loud mouth preachers with no real understanding of the Gospel. It is not the what Jesus said that was as important as Jesus himself. Jesus spoke the words that he did because he wanted us to know Him.
' The Truth of His Word are what speak...not us'
I disagree, I think He is who speaks, He is who calls, He is who stands at the door and knocks, not 'His words'. His words are only a tool that he can use to help to call us to Him, but if you for a minute start to place the words before Christ himself, that is a grave mistake. His words only have power because they came from Him.
No man can speak the word of God unless he is fully saturated with the Holy Spirit because regardless of how many true scriptures he reads or even if he preaches correct doctrine, he himself is a dead tree and can bear no fruit. But a man that is full of life, saturated with the Holy Spirit, will preach correct doctrine and bear fruit.
Anyone that preaches even true doctrine but without being fully saturated in Christ needs to repent.
' Who gets to decide if the baptism of the Holy Spirit is upon them?'
That is an important question and very difficult to answer. Only a person who has really felt this can answer it because it is an experience that you have to have, not something that can be described. Some people are very sure that they are filled with the Holy Spirit but are deceived. When you really are completely saturated with Christ and are filled with the Holy Spirit you will know with absolute certainty. Although, again some people are very certain that they are filled with the Holy Spirit but are deceived. There are so many ways we can be led astray.
There is one thing that is certain, if you are unsure if you have received the second baptism of the Holy Spirit, then you have definitely not received it. When you receive it, you know, there is no question. Therefore if you are uncertain if you have received the gift of the Holy Spirit, do not preach His word. Those who believe they have received the Holy Spirit but are deceived, what can you say to those people? Nothing really, so my message is for those that have ears to hear, not those that don't have ears to hear.
