Re: Oral Short Term Prednisone -Only Thing That Finally Helped My Severe Exfoliative Cheilitis

I am having this issue and it never goes away. Now the corners of my lips are have cuts and are scabbing and my lips are swollen and red. I was just thinking of asking my Dr if he can put me on Prednisone as a last resort because I've been through my Dr, a Dermatologist, an Allergist and two different allergy tests.. It seemed to go away for a little bit here and there when I tried something new, but as usual whatever I use ends up just making it worse and I have tried everything on the market as well! Even Aquaphor doesn't help now. I would just like to thank you for your message because I was wondering if anyone had tried Prednisone for this issue. It help me with severe rashes on my chest in the past that nothing else worked on so I am going to ask for it again. Thank you.
