There are so many factors involved in the Okinawan lifestyle/diet that to bring it down to soy is not even a remotely valid example exotoling the benefits of soy. These folks eat soy as tofu and not the overprocessed crap that is being touted as soy healthfood that we get in this country. Big Biiiiig difference ;+D
Like I said before it's not so much that soy itself is so bad. It all this processing and chemicalizing and still calling it just "soy" when it barely resembles the original soy itself.
Start reading labels at the grocery and see for yourself how much of the heavily porcessed soy is in a huge number of packaged food items. It has nothing to do with adding it for health reasons. It's stricktly profit driven.
