Re: Not experiencing energy benefits of iodine

Oi, I'm sorry about that!
I have it sort of the other way around, I make too much insulin.
On the article 'Diabetes: Causes, Natural Control, & the Mercury/Vaccine Factor B. Windham(Ed) 2011
', mercury is mentioned for pushing the pancreatic beta cells for overproducing insulin. (Diabetes: Causes, Natural Control, & the Mercury/Vaccine Factor B. Windham(Ed) 2011
)

I wonder how long you've been hypoglycemic, when it developed, and if there are any mercury sources involved like eating a lot of fish larger than salmon, vaccines, fillings?

In type 1 it can take decades for vaccines to develop into the drastic enzyme-disturing disaster that is mercury poisoning, but I figure Hg can lay dormant in the body tissues for ages until a stress factor gets the crap moving around and into more sensitive tissues.

Newport pointed me to an excellent thread about copper toxicity, there was a line about hypoglycemia in there too:

''Hypoglycemia

Functional hypoglycemia is frequently as-sociated with elevated tissue copper levels. An excess of tissue copper reduces manga-nese and zinc, thereby interfering with normal glucose metabolism.''
