Re: Re Re Re Re Re Re Early morning hours are just HELL...help
Thank you so much...it has been a long hard road and I have a hard time believing myself that ive come as far as I have.
You're on the right track...you've accepted that youve done this to yourself lol. I often have to remind myself that I did not get like this overnight so its not going to be gone overnight either.
I'm still working on digestion issues myself (I lean more towards constipation than diarrhea) but ive found that the more my metabolism recovers the better my digestion becomes. Colostrum and raw milk have also helped a lot too!
Yes please do not give up carbs. If you can handle them and the affects aren't too severe stick with them. When I first got sick I thought I had candida and then I found out about AF and immediately wrnt zero carb. WORST thing in the world I could have done to myself!! It caused so many more issues, eventually giving me the worst mcs and
food allergies a person could have to endure. So yeah, don't give em up!
As far as sleep goes, I usually have a snack of carbs and fat before bed. I small bowl of potato chips and I sleep good. I know it sounds crazy but it works like a charm.for me! Ive gotten to the point where I can eat apples again (I don't eat any other fruits yet) so a green apple and some goat cheese is another favorite snack of mine before bed.
I know how frustrating the sleep thing is. I still have nights where I have trouble falling asleep and nights that im wide awake at 4 occasionally, but thank God the panic attacks are gone.
Lots of people have had success with melatonin, I personally cant recommend it as I have not tried it yet (I tend to.react violently to supplements) but I may give it a.try soon just to help me fall asleep easier.
Meditation helps a lot too if you can do it. I like to lay in bed and listen to soothing sounds.
Hope this helps :)
