Re: who are those people
You're right, mainstream medicine in the US is a huge problem. One of the core problems of mainstream medicine are corrupt corporations who's only desire is to have the entire US population drugged up and half brain-dead. Debating
Iodine next to this issue is really a miniscule problem.
For me, in my search for healing, one of the most frustrating things has been running across individuals who present themselves as experts and healers but in fact they turn out to really have no understanding of true healing. Of course this is a rather small problem compared to mainstream medicine, as most of these alternative practitioners are not causing patient deaths (although this certainly happens as well). Still it is very frustrating for myself and others trying to search out the path of true healing and coming across people like those on the
Iodine forums who simply ignore the complaints of people who have issues and explain it away as symptoms of detox. If the people on the
Iodine forum were even just a little less obstinate in their opinions and allowed for the possibility that yes there can be some side effects to supplementing with iodine and maybe it is not for everyone, instead of telling people that feel like crap on iodine it is good and they should take even more, then I would have much less of a problem.
