I agree, the internet is full of pompass windbags who put themselves off as "know it all" types. Probably something missing in their life so they have a need to feel important to themselves, so they go find something to write about, sometimes get argumentative, etc.

So, when people on internet forums ignore complaints about Iodine or whatever, just realize many of them wouldn't know a equilibrium constant from an alpha value,let them ramble on - it is therapy for themselves perhaps in their need to feel important to others. Just nod and move on, knowing to yourself they are full of shhit, like so many people seem to be these days. Usually the smarter they present themselves as, the less smart they are. When I post, I typically cite stuff from MD's that's been kinda proven, known for a while. But I try not to post too much, I'm not anybody's savior and have better things to do than help strangers who wouldn't stop to give me the time of day :)) Where were they last time I was sick and wanted some chicken soup ?
