Re: who are those people

thank you for the kind words and the conversation.

"However, I do also believe that there are many possible undesirable side effects to supplementing with iodine."

nobody's perfect.

" Do I believe every single poster? Not necessarily but when I read multiple posts time and time again, many of which have certain similarities and look like signs of hyperthyroidism, then I cannot ignore this trend."

not one of them followed MY advice to get those results. i am like a guide down an untrodden path. i think its funny to watch people pay attention only to the evidence that supports their choices. maybe we do actually live in a democracy after all. they also like to ignore things that do NOT support their choices. let me repeat: i do not experience in real life what i see on the Iodine forum. never. i hand a guy an ounce of SSKI and say take it by the dropper full. many take no companion nutrients. people either feel better or say they dont feel anything and stop taking it. i do screen a little and warn any that have taken fluoridated drugs.

now, here is the entire sword of truth about iodine: its abundance in your body is health inducing (dr flechas says lack of Iodine is a PROMOTER of cancer), its as safe as table salt , and the powers that be do NOT want you or anyone else taking it.

all i see is that this "wringing of hands" ONLY takes place is on the internet. if its internet specific its internet generated. thats not the real world.

for example. the poster may be absolutely legit AND correct that introducing Iodine into their body has caused them great difficulty(notice they never go to the hospital or call poison control). curezone has a big presence on the internet. someone seeking answers to a question like that will likely end up here. the frequency of said poster is not representative of a percentage of the population, they are an exception to the rule but will concentrate here like gold nuggets behind a big rock in a stream.

people also come here and see the forum, see informed and well intended folk like grizz(i love that guy) use verbiage like "horrible detox" and it plants the thought in the minds of others. i shouldnt have to tell you, where the mind goes the body follows.

"I cannot ignore this trend."

i am certainly not ignoring what folks are saying. some of these folk are in a horrible mess long before iodine. lord knows what is stored in their bodies. the body is optimizing its systems to deal with a certain environment. iodine changes that environment dramatically at first and continually over time for a couple of years. i have been on both sides - iodine deficient/halogen imbalanced and now fully iodinated. i would NEVER go back.

iodine doesnt have to be triggering detox to cause a disruption. it brings unused hormone receptors back on line and now you make too much estrogen or insulin or something which takes time to adjust. and of course there is a lot we dont know. we dont know the full extent of the damage from fluorine and bromine exposure. i stand as a testimony that iodine is not the problem - lack of it is.

" As far as health goes, there is no truth to be found."

i disagree. i have found out the truth about a lot of things first hand. i took a step of faith and tried them. a mighty stinky wind blows through curezone about the liver flush. FFS! i did it. i got it to work. one of the best things i ever did. in some ways it turned my health picture around. i learned a lot. i felt WAY better. i literally got some very nasty stuff out of my liver. i dont see what the problem is, except for shills and operator error.

a question for you. if iodine is that harmful then why is PIMA SSKI still on the books and in the pharmacy and prescribed to adults to the tune of 1.8 grams of KI in a day for use as an expectorant? i can attest, its the best damn lung medicine i ever had. in fact, i dont see what you dont get. if you have been paying any attention at all on the forum you would have seen the historic uses iodine has had and its amazing. for your information, potassium Iodide took the medical profession from a public view as sadistic sawbones and quacks(like they have become once again) that werent worth a good chicken out of the yard and gave them the ability to overcome many ailments, including syphilis and TB, infestions of all kinds, etc. IODINE GAVE US THE MODERN NOTION OF SCIENTIFIC MEDICINE. it made people so they could trust doctors, which they didnt before. it all went away with patent medicine, except for the good will and credibility that iodine gave them. that stayed. and once the doctors found out just how safe and advantageous iodine was they made OTC tonics with it. people loved them. in one ounce of dr ayers sarsaparilla was three quarters of a gram of potassium iodide. that'll put some git in your giddyup for sure. it sold for many decades for a dollar a bottle and was immensely popular. thats not snake oil.

one last thing. there ARE shills and we are targeted.
