Sugar is definitely your enemy at the moment. It won't always be but while you have an overgrowth of candida it is the one sure thing that is going to make it much worse. I know this from experience. I have a reasonable suspicion that I got candidiasis from eating too many of those glace pineapples in the first place. Simply delicious but certainly not worth the 2 years of suffering that it gave me.
I also agree with the other posters here that refined carbs are also your enemy. If you check my other posts you can see how I finally got rid of mine. I think it's important to have good amounts of roughage .. cleans the bowels out apart from keeping you regular. That doesn't mean not cooking .. you still get roughage out of cooked vegetables and many vegetables you can't get the goodies out of them unless they are cooked.
