Re: Candida diet, already super skinny- really work
I will say this and hope it is of help. Paleo diets and low carb/high animal protein was nearly the death of me. Sure, it stopped some of the fermentation symptoms at first and bandaided a few things for a while, but my digestion became so bad, my intestines so full of putrid fecal matter, and weight plummeted to 125 lbs... I was eating 3000 kcal of meat, butter, veggies and dying.
I then knew I had to drastically alter things. It wasn't until I went vegan, eliminating meat and mucous forming foods while cleansing my colon for the past 6 months that things have changed for me. I've gained fifteen lbs, lost lbs of mucoid plaque from me, and dead yeast is now coming out of me like nobody's business, along with the dead fecal matter it was hiding behind.
Sure, I eat a lot of fat right now, but also a lot of carbs (from legumes, veggies, avocados, nutritional yeast).
Base your diet around fresh, raw vegetables, greens, some good health oils (especially coconut) and make sure you get your nutritional yeast for B vitamins... black beans have also been a staple for me.
But like has been said, impaired digestion, lack of good bacteria, and putrid dead waste in the colon causing constipation are at the cause of a candida overgrowth. Address these with a balanced diet and colon cleanse, along with fermented foods, and you're on your way to healing this beast. I'm finally almost there... passing colonies of dead yeast daily and eating 200 + grams of carbs a day. :)
