Yes, that worked, I changed it to the alternative format, then it had part of it and I clicked on retrieve message and got it. I guess we should start a new thread at the top.

Yes, most Bible traslations are good. Have you ever read any of the Amplified Bible? The writer tried to amplify the meaning. It would probably be good to read it along side a Bible that was more of a literal translation.

Well, like Rainy mentioned Bible Gateway on the internet is great, you can switch around to all kinds of translations.
