Yes, there are many good translations of the Bible. I use many of them myself. I own several different translations, but I have come to love BibleGatewaydotcom which is a great site. They offer free Bible reading in many good translations. They also offer free audio, so sometimes I have the Bible playing in the background while I am going about my life. I love using different translations. They just say the same thing in a different way. I feel that helps me really get the meaning good, along with the help of the Holy Spirit, of course.

We also need to be aware of very bad Bible translations meant to deceive. I think of a translation from a popular cult. They tell their people that it is the most accurate version and that this is what the scholars of the original languages say. I heard one scholar say that this is a lie told to their people. The scholar of the original languages said it is actually the worse version he has ever seen. I don't know if I am allowed to mention the name of the cult or not since cz has been getting warnings about hate posts. Tweet
