I think yall know me well enough to understand I would not advise people to just go to any old church and not to use their discernment when learning about the leaders of the church.

I did feel some balance needed to be added to what seemed to be a very biased opinion without the other side, the Godly side of pastors and churches of which their are plenty.

And as far as being led astray? I feel that just regular people are more likely to influence you away from Jesus, slowly insidiously, through their suggestions. Like the ones who say they are Christian, but start introducing first subtly, then boldly lots of New Age ideas. You are sort of like the frog sitting in a pot of water as it slowly heats up. You don't notice until a full blown attack against all of your beliefs has begun in your mind. At least that has been my experience. This is a fallen world, so we have to use discernment in every personal relationship, business relationship and church relationship.

Have yall ever read "piercing The Darkness"? There is a battle for the souls of all men going on, so I am not naïve to the dangers of being careless in your choices. But neither am I judging our spiritual church leaders as a whole without rightly dividing the truth first. Tweet
