Re: For Those Reading This Thread

If this message was in response to my last post, a few things:

I appreciate the non-aggressive manner in which you presented the above information, leaving the ultimate choice up to the user. Thank you. I don't know how to prove the validity of the information I shared about my own experience, standing in the unfortunate position of being a first-time poster here. Hopefully, that red flag will fade over time with my continued use of cure-zone this will change, as I have tons to post about in many of the other forums on this site.

Moving on... I think it's dangerous to make concrete blanket statements. Science, for instance, only moves forward when the status-quo is challenged by a new event or observation.

The two statements: "If you can eat carbs, you do not have Adrenal Fatigue, so probably best to post in another section.

If you can eat Sugar and fruit, you definitely do not have Adrenal Fatigue, so probably best to post in another section."

are not true, because here I am, a living example of someone who has adrenal fatigue and who can handle carbs. Even if 99.9% of those with AF can't eat carbs, I don't think it's wise to ostracize and censor the one or two people who can. Maybe there is a factor in my case worth looking at, that study could open a door to a deeper understanding of how nutrition, AF, or the whole complex set of health factors works.

And... I was formally diagnosed with AF after taking a cortisol saliva test through a lab.

Also, I am not claiming to have cured AF with 80/10/10. Far from it - I consider myself still in the thick of it. I DO NOT have all the answers. I have simply found a way to be able to eat carbs comfortably, and I feel like this information is worth sharing. *It is not a conclusion about anything, it is just an observation.*

I also feel it's valuable to share, and study, the experiences of those AF sufferers who had negative experiences with 80/10/10.... in the sake of learning, so we can all make our own informed decisions and get better! Isn't that why we're all here on curezone?

Also ***

Isn't the statement...

"The majority of 80/10/10s (check videos on youtube or meet one in person) have a mental disorder, ADHD or another clinical problem. Dont be one of those people."

a direct contradiction to the "challenge the message and not the messenger" idea?

The statement seems to come from its own personal or collective "crusade" against 80/10/10, and falls short of a real argument. For one, ADHD as a valid condition is a highly controversial diagnosis, and two, I believe it's a logical fallacy to try and win an argument by calling the opponent insane. I'm sure of it and will try to provide a link soon.

It's disturbing, as a newcomer to Curezone, to hear such a statement from a moderator, creating what feels like an unsafe and biased environment.
