Re: Are you already overstimulated?

"One thing to remember, is that if a system is over stimulated, it is actually possible and most likely to have low cortisol issues to blame. The body releases adrenaline in an attempt to maintain normality, therefore causing the continual 'over stimulation' - living on adrenaline 24/7 isnt comfortable."

Yes, but I think a very important fact to consider is which came first? Did you first have low cortisol and then the body became stressed or did the body first become stressed which resulted in low cortisol and even more stress? The way I see it, the later is the case and to cure the problem, we need to treat it as such. I have no doubt that the glandulars and other stimulating herbs will help temporarily but I strongly believe that long-term, they are doing the exact opposite of what you want to do to actually heal the body(that is further stimulating and already over-stimulated endocrine system).

The way I see it, the main problem with a diet that is very high in meat is not just that it takes so much energy to digest (which is also true) but that it has such a stimulating effect on the body (again, seems to be what a lot of people are looking for but I think this is the opposite of what is desired).
