Thanks for the guidance that has let us to a RAW vegan diet. As you know we stray on occasion (we are not perfect) but we are ~99%. The kids have been 100% raw now for 3 weeks. We started our transition last November.



At our last Dr. visit (Nov 2008) I refused any more treatment for the kids (after watching them be tortured with Chelation injections).... & the Dr. warned me of a dangerously high bacterial count both of them had - and he HIGHLY advised my to put them on Antibiotics for 8-10 weeks. I refused - told him we would heal them with diet and herbs.



3 months later - the kids seem to be doing ok - their autism symptoms are a bit milder - but was concerned about the last test results and the dr's warnings.....



We performed another urine test and reviewed the results with the doctor.



He exclaimed... "the results look very good - what have you been giving them...? Are you giving them antbiotics, folic acid, B12, COQ10, Zinc, B Complex...etc"....



I responded ... no... we are now raw vegans. They are on 75 - 90% raw fruit, 5-10% nuts, seeds, oils, and 5-10% greens, and various herbs.... I watched as the Doctor was taking notes. He asked several questions about the herbs.



He then suprised me by exclaiming... "you are raw vegan? That is outstanding - there is no better diet in the world - you will never need a doctor! "...



He encouraged us to get support and stick with it best we can.



Doctor visits SUCK... but this one was one of the best!



I doubt we need to go back... but confirmation you are making progress (especially when 1 son is still quite affected by autism) is re-assuring.



We are now focused on removing metals with a bugleweed/cilantro formula from Dr. Christopher.. along with Chlorella and Spirulina.



My son Seth was diagnosed ~ 2 years ago as a moderate autistic... he and his brother Nick are attending pre-school. Seth gets to sit in a Kindergarten class for an hour a day.. they want to see how he does with the older kids. The teacher handed a note to Seth to give to his teacher - Seth opened it and read it to his teacher !!!



Autism... Cured.. ?? If not... he is certainly progressing !!!!



Nick is progressing - but has a long way to go. He was diagnosed 2 years ago as moderate to severely autistic. His gut problems have been mostly resolved. His auditory skills are minimal - but he is now able to sound out all vowels and constenants, and writes/spells words on command. He is progressing... and seems to be coming out of "the fog".



Both kids are physically stronger, and their faces look flush, cheeks rosy... much healthier !!



Nature... how can you go wrong ?



Bless you for your guidance and support - we have travelled and long and paralous road to find this path... the asps are waiting along the shoulder to tempt & bite us.. if we stray !!!
