Re: 22 years old. Very Ill. Extreme Fatigue. Digestive Issues Etc. Need advice.
I'm really sorry to hear about the bad blood between you and your mother. That is really awful. I would suspect that the stress from that would be a great contributing factor to the decline of your overall health. In my daughter's case it was college plus 3 major surgeries over a 3 year period.
I wanted to reply back to you because in my continuing research to help my daughter I am always uncovering new information and I've just recently stumbled on what appears to be a very interesting protocol that addresses yours/my daughters symptoms more than anything I've come across in the past. It involves low body temperature/low metabolism in people who've especially tried to address their physical problems thru various diets. If you look up low body temps and low metabolism you'll find that the symptoms are spot on right down to the dark circles around the eyes.
My initial search led me to a guy named Matt Stone so I encourage you to start there. He has written several books that can be purchased from Amazon.com. One is called Eat For Heat and another good one is Diet Recovery 2. He also has a blog 180degreehealth.com that also has an active forum and you can find very informative videos regarding the protocol at their youtube account. The protocol basically involves eating warm high calorie foods to raise your body temp, liberal use of
Sugar and salt (presumably
Sea Salt ) and moving away from the idea of keeping one's body hydrated - the assumption being that 8 glasses of water a day does more harm than good because our body fluids are not meant to be diluted to such an extent and lowers body temp, so focus on more dense foods rather than watery foods (fruits, etc).
I hope you will look into this. I am really concerned for you. Best of luck to you and let us know how it goes.
