Re: Question for Faith110 re: food sensitivity
No, I haven't worked in almost 2 years :) so I can't really give you advice on the job thing. before all the crazy
food sensitivities I was dealing with dysautonomia and all kinds of fun stuff. I've just recently started to take small jobs again.
I had forgotten about the fast. I fasted for three days but it was more of a forced thing than a choice. After my anaphylactic episode I tried to take some benedryl and my body went completely haywire. I couldn't even drink water without my tongue swelling and throat tightening. I then decided to just fast because my body simply wasn't accepting anything. I had already been eating almost nothing for days so it was really a last resort. It was probably the most brutal 3 days of my life. After day three I broke the fast with some
Celery juice and then introduced small amounts of boiled potatoes. I ate nothing but potatoes for about 6 weeks then reintroduced boiled chicken and eventually milk and butter.
You can try the fast, it may help you because it does get the system calmed a bit. Just be sure that you can have absolute rest with no responsibility at all while you do it
