Re: Question for Faith110 re: food sensitivity

Hey there,

Yes, your body is overloaded with food chemicals and your mast cells are upset. Youre going to react to everything for awhile, as it takes some time for the body to disspell the excess histamine and salicylates. For me it was about 6 weeks before my reactions became noticeably better. It took months before I could eat certain things with almost no noticeable reaction. I still have a reaction everytime I eat, as the digestive process itself produces histamine. But the reactions are now very mild with failsafe foods and I am used to always feeling alittle different after I eat so I dont give it much attention.

My experience was very similar to yours, in fact much worse. It just takes some time for your system to calm down. Keep in mind that anxiety and stress will also makes it way worse too so do your best to stay calm. I used to eat and then put on headphones with soothing music to distract myself from the reactions.

Just hang in there. Time is your best friend in this situation
