Re: Cure Zone

No offense to anyone, but I've been reading these forums for five years, and some people here are clearly attention seekers or chronic hypochondriacs or just delusional. You learn to recognize them. The names change all the time, but the symptoms stay the same, and they will not take advice. We all know who they are, and you will see posts that don't get answered because it's like "Oh no, here's John Doe again." I try to come in and answer them sometimes, just in case it isn't John or Jane Doe again, so people won't feel ignored. I've had people ignore my posts here, and it hurts. In short, delusional parasitosis DOES exist, even though it isn't as prevalent as doctors would have you believe.

parasites do exist, and they are sometimes impossible to get rid of. I have strongyloides, doctor diagnosed with an Elisa test and subjective analysis, and I'm still looking for answers five years later, although I am 75% better. I've seen these people run a good friend off this board by being completely hateful to her when she was trying to help people, and find help for herself as well. They followed her to her blog and posted horribly hateful comments. I left this forum for years after that, as did some of the other really helpful people. It's not as bad as it used to be. There were some really hateful people on here a few years back. We called it the " Hulda Clark " forum, because if you didn't prescribe to her methods, you were put down pretty badly. It goes through spells. Right now, there are some very nice, helpful people here, but eventually, they will lose interest and go away and then some bad people may come in. Hardly anyone is left here from when I first came, and I truly miss some of them.

I see that on all the boards on Curezone, actually, but really sick, desperate people can be obnoxious. Some people are just as sick as they say. I was terribly ill when I first came here, and since strongyloides is not curable, I sometimes still am. After awhile, people run out of answers for you, then they get frustrated and can get snippy.

It's a site full of sick people, some physical, some mental. Most people who have chronic parasite infections develop Depression and sometimes other mental illnesses. It's a hard thing to fight, since doctors don't take you seriously. You start to think that maybe you ARE crazy, but then the little worms start coming out of your body again, and you know you aren't.
