Re: Cure Zone
Ok so I was going to accept an apology (from 176675) but seen as other posters have jumped on the band wagon too Im not so sure now. It is frankly disgusting (I dont use that word lightly) that this post has gone this way. I am not an academic or a PSYCHOLOGIST - please read my posts carefully.
Sadly, 176675 decided that I was simply because i had used the word psychologist in my post. And that I happended to have another degree in history. I am in fact a mental health support and trainee psychologist (with a long way to go).
Unfortunately 17765 then went on to rubbish my posts and mock my spelling, credentials and discuss my eye floaters with other posters as if I couldnt read what was been written. Few of you decided to offer support to what turned out to be a normal guy posting - not a charlatan, academic or whatever people on Cure zone seem to be so sensitive to.
Now i see others discussing the spelling issue again. Please check my posts and count them if there are that many. I have seen spelling mistakes in numerous posts I have seen - so tell me where does my post cross the line?
Also, I asked myself do I just forgive and move on because the totally inappropriate and rude responses from one poster were not meant for me? Well on that my instinct says NO. Is that any way to reply to someone on a health forum? BTW this person's final post was deleted which was the most offensive of all. Other posters haven't taken the time to see that someone offered an apology on an open forum (which is appreciated). This same person who has now started a cascade of posts triggered by her attack. And despite her apology people continue, no doubt following the pack mentality, because they assumed all her criticisms were RIGHT.
176675 has apologized. I accept it. Why cannot other posters leave it now? Afterall Im just a regular guy posting and my topic ended up being highjacked by the over zealous defenders of the forum.
