Re: Adrenal crash?
I agree HA - i suggested stopping the supps not the gladulars...as BW had said they already abruptly stopped the adrenal glandular hence the reaction they experienced.
I'm not sure that going back on them in order to taper off them properly would be of benefit at this stage as they already experienced the crisis of suddenly stopping.
Altho' it's debatable if the crisis was caused by the glandulars..having been on them for just 2 weeks and feeling no change then the 3rd week feeling sudden awful fatigue...if female i wonder if the menstrual cycle hormone changes altered/interfered the response to the glandulars...as ovaries, thyroid and adrenals are connected?
I agree glandulars are useful from what ive read of others experience - i didn't do well on them but the state i was in when i tried then, nothing seemed to help! They'd probably help me more now.
Dessicated thyroid is seen as a far superior way to treat the thyroid, with many studies of success, in comparison to the synthetic thyroid prescription most often given.
Maybe, as with many things...things get rougher before they improve and the reaction brooklynwings had was the rough patch?
I hope you're feeling better BW :-)
