Re: Isocort
I can relate Blistering Fate...did i sign this contract?!
I have one CBS, and i've found cutting out sulfur foods, particularly cabbage and tomatoes have helped calm other symptoms. The MTHFR, MTR and a few others in the methylation cycles are double mutated so i'm working slowly on trying to unblock those and get some detoxing happening - hair test showed high copper, aluminium, arsenic, mercury.
I too am on the hypothyroid adrenal boat and despite using adrenal repair protocol i didn't get any relief until i understood the genetic mutations better, and understood more what was causing the AF.
Do you take B6 for the CBS? Yasko says not to if i remember right, while i do well on B6, logic reasoning tells me if the CBS is upregulated then it will use up more body store of B6 leading to a deficiency. It's a relatively recent health protocol so no-one has all the answers - i would recommend the genetic section of pheonixrising forum....great info on there and folk who are V. knowledgeable about the common detox mutations.
I do reiki on myself..had reiki before getting ill...it does help lots to ease the physical symptoms but you're right - it doesn't last and i find it's something needed daily ideally if i had the time and quiet space.
I've tried plant-based hallucinogens..mainly psilocybin (sp?) from mushrooms years ago, a very interesting experience, not at all 'druggy' as commonly assumed, although it is a different perspective experienced and difficult to join the experience into the reality we perceive normally. The insights gained are remembered...it's worth writing the experience and insights down at the time of journeying.
It's not something i would recommend really as it is a different reality and can make many people unsure of themselves. I would never recommend this when depressed and or anxious, or feeling in any way psychologically inbalanced.
Ayahuasca is intriguing i agree, but Don Juan couldn't even convince me to try it!
These days i struggle with glandulars let alone hallucinogens!
But do what your instincts tell you...they are always right.
I've stopped supplemental regimes for a few weeks without knowing why...and i've bought a supp. based on instincts which has been a life-saver.
I'm not keen on the NB program due to it's rigidity. I love the
Science of it. Obviously we all can use discretion as to how much of it to follow but having a strict protocol does not allow instinct to thrive.
Healing on all levels helps best: emotional/spiritual, chemical/physical, electrical/frequency.
Have you tried grounding? Many report benefits from it and it's a cheap route to providing healing.
Wishing you continual improved health.
