Re: Just switched from ARL to Trace Elements Lab

Bella- I really think for myself that I finally found the right diet for myself and have stuck to it quite faithfully from the beginning. I have always felt that the diet is the most important part of NB. Diet plus stress reduction and of course getting rid of toxins, amalgams, drugs, beauty products etc.

For the first 45 years of my life I ate a high carb/low fat diet. I think for me this was the worst probable diet. I loved sweets, bread, pasta, pizza, bagels, rice, potatoes and the list goes on and on. I tried to control my weight with low, low fat. This just never worked for me. I am now 15-20 lbs lighter eating a fatty Paleo diet. I am not saying this diet will be the right one for everyone but each has to find the optimal diet for themselves.

As for ARL I never took any supps for 3 months out of 16 months. After the first year I devised my own plan because things just didn't make sense to me.

I do see many people getting stuck in the 4 lows for years on end. This doesn't make any sense to me. Why should this happen? My gut tells me that these folks are on the wrong protocol and a deficiency can cause lots of problems.

By the way I am more in favour of a slow train but a train that is at least moving and not stalled in it's tracks.
