I don't have to prove beyond all doubt that Ellis water is all that is claimed because I can but a unit and try it for myself. It's expensive so I have to be either real curious, or satisfied I could get my money restored in large degree should I find it lacking. So, I looked for a used one. I thought there should be some out there somewhere that people decided to test or found one in a thrift store or something like that. Nada. They don't exist. I mean I've been looking for 2 years and the one I found was snapped up so fast I couldn't believe it. No one gets rid of these things and the only reason I can imagine is; they find it to be valuable to use. No? Thousands of these units are out there and I can't get a break off the price at all?
