Re: Does Systemic Candida always mean Hospitalization ?

I strongly disagree, candida overgrowth IS NOT a made-up condition, I had it and wasn't malnourished or not getting not enough calories.

What I agree on, is that many people don't get well even though they seem to do everything to adress the candida problem. That is just because they go the high protein high fat way. This diet will make your digestive and elimination organs sluggish and even more compromised, mainly liver, pancreas, kidneys, will make you constipated, your food will not be properly digested because lack of stomach acid and it won't promote good flora growth. So as soon as you eat some more carbs, even after monthes of treatment the candida flares up. And we both agree that carbs don't mix well with anything else. I've been there.

To remind you a bit my story: I was prescribed Antibiotics for more than a year for mild acne. At that point bowel movements were fine, maybe a bit of dandruff that's basically all. After few weeks into the treatment, I started feeling really tired, brain fogged, losing hair, getting athlete's foot, digestive disorders (bloated, diarrhea/constipation, blood in stool), oily skin, massive dandruff, losing weight. It got progressively worse and worse. One day I stopped the treatment because it wasn't getting any better (acne). All symptoms persisted and worsened over time. Eventually I started to lose even more weight despite eating more and getting severly sick. I ended up in the hospital after having lost few kilos in few days and feeling miserable. T-cell count was extremly low, doctors thought I had AIDS. They sent me back home when test came back negative.
Later on, after being finally diagnosed of candida overgrowth by a GP that turned to alternative medicine, I was prescribed by another doctor fluconazole. Most of my symptoms got 10 times worse immediatly after and liver enzymes slightly elevated. The most visible sign was that I got almost bald in a matter of days.

I was in the hospital slowly dying from CANDIDA OVERGROWTH, and parasites too, but I only discovered that myself later on, because doctors failed to diagnose it.

I've actually eaten more than 5 huge cloves of raw garlic all at once, and didn't experience any stomach issues. Garlic though would give me the same symptoms than any potent antifungal>>> die off
