Re: Does Systemic Candida always mean Hospitalization ?

It all depends on the particular situation, eating too much or too little can both have negative consequences. The digestive system can be a very delicate system for many people, for me not eating enough and especially not eating enough carbohydrates is very harmful. Other people can fast for weeks at a time and reap many beneficial effects. I don't agree with Natway's opinions or the way they are expressed, but I will say that candida CAN be caused and exacerbated by malnutrition, including not eating enough calories and cutting carbs, I know this from personal experience. Stress is a very common underlying symptom of candida and cutting carbs and calories will usually place even further stress on someone who may already have a very stressed nervous system. This is a key factor that many people miss when trying to knock out candida and this is why some people end up struggling with this as more of a life-long kind of thing.
