Re: Some help perhaps?
Thanks for sharing all that Snobetty.
I have a few questions that you may or may not be able to answer:
How long has your doctor been operating under his current viewpoint toward Adrenal Fatigue and Mental Illness at large? Based on what you just posted and what you posted a few months ago from him, I get the feeling that it is recently developed. Is that the sense you're getting as well?
I'm on board with the fatigue being caused by inflammation. Why does he believe that the brain specifically is inflamed? Has he seen it?
Where does he come up with 1 to 2 years? Did he give you an idea of what he is basing that off and why it's so general?
I also want to address the "It's all in your head" comment that I keep seeing and has been referenced at me a few times. (This isn't directed at you Snobetty). When I say the root cause of all this is subconscious mind based, I'm not implying that we're all imagining our symptoms or are a bunch of hypochondriacs or something. How could I think that? I'm suffering just like the rest of you! I'm just trying to explain and unravel how this all started.
Hawksfan- Here is my take on your situation that I posted a while back:

If you agree with that but need a better strategy to get out of it other than just being mindful and accepting, let me know.
I've been where you are and I'm sure many others have too. It's common when you are beginning to learn about all of this because it can be initially shocking and scary.
Lam's outline of the different stages and stuff is all crap and just wrong. I'd recommend dropping it. All it does is induce fear.
