I want to thank all of you for your thoughtful replies.
I spent a lot of time yesterday, reading and watching as many/much of those videos as I could. I also read some other forums to find out more about what you were all talking about.
A lot of things have become clearer to me, and I got some new information, especially regarding what supplements/herbs are good to take. I can also see that I must transition towards a diet which is mostly plant based. I learned that I am certainly ingesting too much animal protein.
I have a question. I do understand about the connection between fat intake, especially animal fats.
However, many people advocate the use of certain fats, especially omega 3's and coconut oil. They seem to have anti-inflammatory, and even healing powers. What do you think about this? Isn't it necessary to have some fat intake? I am not challenging you, I just want to understand. I'm confused on this point.
I also understand that my biggest challenge right now is getting off refined carbs, i.e, bread and such. Can you give me some tips as to how to do this, and how to weather the withdrawals? Or point me to a forum that would address that.
